Previously announced for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, Elden Ring will hit stores later this year under the title Elden Ring Tarnished Edition. More information has surfaced regarding the features that will accompany the Switch 2 version of this open-world action RPG.
According to Famitsu’s report from the FromSoftware Games Event in Tokyo, it was announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Elden Ring will feature two new playable classes: Knight of Ides and Heavy Knight. Details about these classes are scant at the moment. Moreover, players can look forward to four new armor, weapon, and combat skill sets, as well as three additional customization options for your steed, Torrent.
All the content here is also accessible across all other platforms. You can obtain it using a separate downloadable expansion pack called “Tarnished Pack“. This should come as no surprise.
At the moment, you can play Elden Ring on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and personal computers. Regrettably, it hasn’t been confirmed when it will be available on Switch 2. This highly-praised action RPG has already sold more than 30 million copies globally.
