This week, Welcome Skateboards unveiled their official partnership collaboration with FromSoftware and Bandai Namco for Elden Ring. Today, they have disclosed the items involved in this collaboration, such as skateboard decks and clothing options for fans to appreciate. Notably, these products are now accessible for purchase on Welcome Skateboards’ online store.
It’s worth noting that among the much-anticipated items from this Elden Ring collaboration, it’s the boards that seem to be generating the most buzz. In all, there are four boards, each showcasing a beloved character from the highly praised action RPG. The first one is Malenia on Welcome’s Boline 2.0 styled board. Following this is Radahn on the Magic Bullet 2.0 design. The third is Mohg on the Early Grab shape. Lastly, we have Ranni on the Widow shape. Although three of these designs might appear a bit unusual, they are indeed rideable. However, many people will likely purchase these boards primarily for wall decoration.
For enthusiasts of Elden Ring, there are various clothing choices available to purchase. These range from five distinct t-shirts, a mesh football jersey, a knit sweater, shorts, a satin jacket, and a tapestry jacket embellished with Messmer, all over. Prices for these items vary from $39.99 to $169.99. Be advised that these collaborative pieces can quickly sell out, particularly the decks. It may be wise for those interested to monitor Welcome’s store page regularly.
Welcome Skateboards isn’t new to teaming up for projects. They often work with popular entertainment brands and musicians to produce themed goods, like their Elden Ring line. Their latest partnership, aside from today’s launch, was with the popular cartoon series Adventure Time. They’ve also partnered with Batman, Beetlejuice, Britney Spears, Nine Inch Nails, My Chemical Romance, and numerous others in the past.
The video game titled “Elden Ring” has been one of the most significant releases in recent years, achieving notable sales achievements since its debut in 2022. In our initial evaluation of the main game, we awarded it an impressive 4.5 stars out of 5. Last year, it was expanded with a substantial addition named “Shadow of the Erdtree“, which we rated a perfect 5 out of 5 in our review.
In our assessment of Elden Ring, released in 2022, we noted that it’s not a flawless FromSoftware game but rather a remarkable progression of aspects that fans either admired or criticized in their previous titles. The game seems to have struck a satisfying compromise between catering to new players and easing frustrations while still preserving the challenging nature that is characteristic of the studio.
In our review, we recommended that if you’ve completed or nearly finished playing Elden Ring, taking on Shadow of the Erdtree will significantly enhance your Elden Ring adventure, making it a must-play to truly enrich your overall experience.
Despite the fact that particular Elden Ring boards aren’t showcased, it would be fitting to include Welcome Skateboards in the upcoming game, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4. One of the game’s latest pro skaters, Nora Vasconcellos, is a part of their team.
