The streamer famous for beating Elden Ring with a saxophone controller is now close to completing Hollow Knight Silksong using the same unusual method. This time, however, the controller also makes a ‘doot’ sound with every button press!
Dr. Doot, a Twitch streamer, has become well-known for uniquely playing video games while simultaneously playing the saxophone. Recently, they’ve been tackling the challenging game Silksong using their custom controller/instrument, and they’re making even the most difficult parts look surprisingly easy – honestly, it’s a little embarrassing for me!
Dr. Doot recently tweeted that he’s nearly finished playing through the game Silksong using a saxophone controller, and he’s finally discovered ‘Path of Pain 2’ – a particularly difficult hidden platforming challenge. ‘Path of Pain 2’ is a nod to the notoriously hard ‘Path of Pain’ from the first game, as seen in the video he shared of himself navigating a treacherous, spike-filled tunnel.
The video shows Dr. Doot skillfully jumping and dodging spiky walls in the dark, carefully finding safe spots to land. It’s no surprise they breathed a sigh of relief at the end!
I can’t believe Dr. Doot’s incredible challenge run is almost over! He actually reached the very last boss of the Silksong True Ending yesterday, but he had to stop after five hours of intense platforming – totally understandable, he was just worn out!
