Elden Ring Official Huge Release Delayed To April Last-Minute

Fans of Elden Ring are always on the lookout for news and merchandise. While there’s plenty of smaller items like mousepads and statues available, bigger releases sometimes appear too.

We expected to receive it this week, but it seems like those plans have shifted, according to both our own observations and feedback from fans on Reddit.

New Elden Ring Nightreign Release Delayed

You’ll Have To Wait Until April

So, Elden Ring Nightreign came out a while back in mid-2025, and honestly, it’s still super popular. A big part of that is the awesome DLC they released. But as a Souls player, I’m used to figuring things out myself, and that’s still the case! The official guide book was supposed to drop at the end of February, but it’s been delayed again. We’re all still just stumbling through, which is kinda the point, but a little help would be nice!

I’ve been able to keep up with this story easily because I ordered the book way back in mid-2025, around when the Nightreign game launched. By the time the book arrives, it will be about a year after the game’s release. Six months ago, in September, the publisher, Future Press, announced that they were delaying the book to include content from the The Forsaken Hollows expansion.

This time, we were given another statement by Future Press about the most recent delay:

We apologize for the delay in releasing the Elden Ring Nightreign guide. We initially intended to cover just the base game, but realized that guide would quickly become outdated. We wanted to create a resource fans could use for years, so we decided to expand and improve it. After months of work, the result is a comprehensive, 584-page book—much larger than originally planned! It now includes full coverage of the Forsaken Hollows DLC, strategies and breakdowns for 120 bosses, complete shop lists, an expedition planner, unique character builds, and all the in-game dialogue and lore.

Amazon currently shows the release date as April 30, 2026. We’ve reached out to Future Press to confirm this timeframe and will share any updates we receive.

Hopefully Nightreign’s Companion Guide Is Worth The Wait

New Info And Concept Art Would Be Ace

A lot of what makes Nightreign fun comes from players sharing information with each other. It’s especially thrilling to start a run, particularly in the randomized Deep of Night mode, and that’s why I keep coming back to play.

Future Press, don’t rush things. Adding more details like concept art and interviews will only make the project better for everyone involved.

Fans of Elden Ring are continuing to enjoy new content, and it appears Bandai Namco and FromSoftware plan to keep it coming.
