On July 30, 2025, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco plan to release a two-player mode for Elden Ring Nightreign as part of update 1.02. This update will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. This addition aims to simplify the process for players to arrange matches with friends, a feature that was frequently requested by the gaming community.
In addition to the new two-player game setting, this update will also enhance various user-friendly features within the game itself.
Previously, Bandai Namco revealed that Nightreign achieved a sales figure of five million units, and Elden Ring’s expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, surpassed the milestone of ten million sold copies.
