When Is Elden Ring Nightreign DLC Coming Out?
Elden Ring Nightreign’s The Forspoken Hollows DLC is currently scheduled to release on December 4.
Releasing the DLC now would be a good timing, as it’s almost a year since Nightreign was first shown at The Game Awards 2024. Since FromSoftware is currently focusing on The Duskbloods, and we don’t know how much content Nightreign will ultimately receive, this might be the only large expansion the game gets.
This guide will be updated if any late announcements indicate a delay to The Forspoken Hollows.

This downloadable content (DLC) expands the ELDEN RING: Shadow of the Erdtree experience. It adds two new Nightfarers to encounter, two challenging new bosses, and a new Shifting Earth area to explore, along with other content.
Meet the two newest Nightfarers: Scholar and Undertaker. Here’s a quick introduction to each of them.
- Scholar: “An academic who walks the Lands Between. Boasting impressive arcane levels, he gains incredible advantages through battlefield observation.”
- Undertaker: “An abbess who was mandated to slay the Nightlord. Boasting impressive strength and faith, she sends enemies to the afterlife with ruthless efficiency.”
I’m so excited about the Shifting Earth update! It’s bringing these beautiful crystals to a really magical-looking place. I can’t wait to see everything else they’ve added on December 4th. Good news for us, it’ll be available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC as always!
