FromSoftware recently released a small update for Elden Ring, called Nightreign. This patch, version 1.02.4 on PC, addresses a few issues. Console players will see it as update version 1.002.004, and it should be a quick download.
This update primarily addresses a bug in Nightfall mode. Previously, if your connection dropped during a session, the game would sometimes incorrectly carry over data to your next session.
For the complete list of fixes, read on below.
Elden Ring Nightreign’s Update for Oct. 7 Brings Fixes to Deep of the Night via 1.002.004

Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where the progress from a disconnected Expedition in the Deep of Night mode (if no victory or defeat was reached) could sometimes carry over the next expedition and be reflected in the subsequent session’s results.
- Fixed a bug where the “launched an Expedition into The Deep of Night” status was not correctly applied to some party members when launching a multiplayer Expedition in the Deep of Night mode.
- Fixed a bug in multiplayer where the Relics displayed on the status menu for other players did not always match what they were equipped with when starting an Expedition.
- Fixed a bug in multiplayer where the “Dormant Power Helps Discover XXX” Relic Effect was not triggering when equipped or would trigger even when the player did not have the relevant Relic equipped.
- Fixed a bug in multiplayer where enemies would stop spawning, Graces could not be interacted with, etc., if a player disconnected from the session.
