The buzz is, Marvel execs have dropped a major spoiler about their return, hinting at a mind-blowing twist in the narrative!
During the initial season of Daredevil: Reborn, now available on Disney+, Henson is portrayed as Matt Murdock’s attorney and closest companion, played by Charlie Cox.
During an interview with a media outlet, Brad Winderbaum from Marvel Cinematic Universe’s TV department shared some exciting news: While Foggy is considered deceased in the storyline, he will reappear along with Karen in future episodes.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, let me share some exciting news: In the upcoming season, you’ll see the return of not one, but two beloved characters – Deborah and Elden! I can’t wait to dive into their stories again.
Additionally, he stated, “Karen and Foggy are deeply connected to Matt. In my opinion, there’s no Matt Murdock tale without these two figures, and I can’t wait to witness them both in Season 2.”
Furthermore, on the topic of reintroducing Foggy, Winderbaum shared that the decision wasn’t made impulsively. Instead, there were lengthy deliberations, at times resulting in restless nights as the team weighed their options thoroughly.
In simpler terms, Winderbaum explained, “We gave this matter a lot of thought and it wasn’t an easy choice. It stirred up intense discussions among us—that’s the best way I can put it. There were many sleepless nights involved. Initially, nobody was keen on it, not even me. But eventually, we agreed that it was necessary. The story required this step to be taken.
It was also mentioned that they plan to delve deeper into Matt’s struggles with inner turmoil. To give Matt (played by Charlie Cox) the help he needs, it was important to bring back Foggy as well.
