As a long-time admirer of Nicole Kidman, I must admit that this recent controversy has left me slightly disheartened. While I have always respected her for her incredible talent and grace, the allegations about her divorce meme picture have cast a shadow over her reputation.
I can’t help but express my bewilderment and concern over the allegations swirling around Nicole Kidman! It seems that some folks are claiming she misled us when she stated not long ago that the viral divorce meme photo, the one that captured hearts in 2001, wasn’t taken outside her lawyer’s office post-divorce settlement with Tom Cruise – a story widely circulated by numerous tabloids back then. I find myself questioning this turn of events and eagerly awaiting more clarification from the actress herself.
“That was from a film. That wasn’t real life. I know that image,” she told GQ earlier this week.
Investigators delving into the internet have been trying to uncover proof for Kidman’s statement, but unfortunately, they couldn’t find any substantial evidence.
A user posted on Twitter: “After investigating thoroughly, it appears she didn’t mention the specific movie, and none of her followers have any suggestions about which film it could be. Therefore, I believe it’s reasonable to assume that she’s fabricating the story, and it likely is a recent paparazzi photograph taken after their divorce.
A second commented, “I LOOKED FOR EVIDENCE. THIS IS NOT FROM A MOVIE.”
This person wondered if movie sets permit photographers, or paparazzi, to snap any photos they desire. Their straightforward denial seemed to suggest that this person also thought Nicole Kidman’s statement might be a disguise for something else.
“I’m fascinated by this because it’s such an easily disprovable lie,” wrote another.
Simultaneously, the fifth user on X’s platform posted, “During that time, there wasn’t any role of hers that depicted her wearing such clothing or her natural hairstyle. This is clearly FALSE.
In the image under discussion, the Australian celebrity donned a striped blouse, green cargo pants, and sneakers. As of now, she hasn’t disclosed the title of the film she mentioned during her interview.
In September, Jenna Dewan’s meme garnered attention as she shared it on her Instagram Story, marking the resolution of her high-profile divorce with Channing Tatum.
Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise were husband and wife from 1990 until 2001. During their eleven years of marriage, they adopted two children: Isabella, who is now 31, and Connor, who turned 29 this year.
After finalizing her divorce, Nicole Kidman tied the knot with Keith Urban in 2006. Together, they became parents to their daughters Sunday (born in 2008) and Faith (born in 2010).
Tom Cruise continued his life with Katie Holmes, and they were husband and wife between 2006 and 2012. Together, they have an 18-year-old daughter named Suri Noelle.
It’s reported that Tom Cruise’s sole biological daughter, Suri, appears to have distanced herself from her father. Lately, she has decided to omit Tom’s surname from her stage name.
