Dylan Efron Dances With Sister Olivia and Pays Emotional Tribute to Brother Zac Efron on DWTS Dedication Night

During Week 5 of “Dancing With the Stars,” which was themed “Dedication Night,” Dylan Efron shared a touching performance that moved the audience, making it a special night for his family and viewers alike.

I was really moved by the performance on the show last night, October 14th. The reality star did a contemporary dance with Daniella Karagach, and it was incredibly touching because he dedicated it to his sister, Olivia, and also as a tribute to his brother, Zac Efron. It felt very personal and heartfelt.

Dylan and his five-year-old daughter, Olivia (who will be six in December), shared a heartwarming moment together on stage.

Dylan spun Olivia around before she moved aside, letting him continue dancing with Karagach. Their performance was full of exciting lifts, flair, and heartfelt emotion, and it concluded with Olivia running back to embrace her brother.

The judges gave them a score of 36 out of 40 for their performance, which was set to the song “Rewrite the Stars” from the movie “The Greatest Showman.”

In behind-the-scenes footage, Dylan shared how much he cares for his siblings. He admitted he didn’t anticipate becoming a big brother, especially with a 30-year age difference between him and Olivia. He expressed his desire to help Olivia live life confidently, explaining he wants to be a supportive figure for her, just as his brother Zac was for him.

I absolutely love watching Olivia and Dylan together! She told the cameras that she just feels so free and comfortable when she’s with him, and that he’s her best friend. It’s so sweet! Dylan described their bond as ‘authentic,’ and honestly, that’s the perfect word for it. You can really see how close they are.

Olivia has been a consistent presence supporting Dylan at his ballroom performances. Dylan shared with TODAY.com that his entire family – his mom, dad, brother Henry, and Olivia – were in the audience for his first performance.

He explained that he called his mom right after the dance because she’d been watching from the stands, but wasn’t aware she’d be able to see him afterward. He’d been looking for her and was surprised when she wasn’t there, so he simply called to thank her for coming. He’d already spoken to his dad and younger siblings.

Dylan’s performance was moving because it combined talent, genuine feeling, and a clear love for his family. It was obvious to everyone watching – both the audience and the judges – that the Efron siblings have a close and touching relationship, which was really evident even on stage.
