The indie game *Dungeons & Kingdoms*, developed by a single creator known as Uncle Grouch Gaming, is planned to launch in Early Access on PC in 2025. The specific release date will be announced after Steam Next Fest begins on October 13th, when a playable demo will be available.
Dungeons & Kingdoms blends the best parts of strategy, simulation, and dungeon-crawling games. Players will get to build and run their own kingdoms, and also explore dangerous dungeons, fighting monsters in action-packed, third-person battles.
When the game first launches in Early Access, it will only be playable as a single-player experience. Online features, mod support, and compatibility with the Steam Workshop are planned for future updates. Despite this limited initial scope, players will be able to explore all three core aspects of the game – managing villagers, building a kingdom, and engaging in RPG combat – to get a feel for its full potential.
