“You’re crazy.”
“No. We’re eccentric.”
Everyone appreciates a little bit of individuality, and we at TopMob certainly do! That’s a good thing, because Camille and Issei will need all their unique skills and personalities as they search for the world’s most incredible wine in season two of Apple TV’s acclaimed series, Drops of God. Based on the popular Japanese manga, this season follows their global quest to uncover a long-held mystery. They’ll have to work together no matter what they discover, and the journey might lead them to unexpected places. You can get a first look at their adventure in the season two trailer below.
Greek myths are full of warnings about humans trying to claim things meant for the gods, and those stories are often the most compelling. In season two of Drops of God, the show’s wine-expert siblings will learn this lesson firsthand as they pursue something that should remain untouched by human hands. The new trailer promises another complex, visually stunning, and internationally flavored installment of the series.
I was so excited to see the trailer, and Apple TV and Legendary Television also released a little preview of what season two of Drops of God is all about! Here’s the official synopsis:
Season two of Drops of God presents Camille and Issei with their most dangerous mission yet: finding the source of the world’s most exceptional wine – a puzzle their father, Alexandre Léger, never cracked. What starts as a journey to honor their family history quickly turns into a quest for the truth, leading them across continents and through centuries of forgotten stories, long-held grudges, and deeply buried secrets. As they push themselves to the limit, both geographically and emotionally, Camille and Issei must confront how far they’re willing to go. The answer could break their sibling relationship… or lead to their downfall.
The series Drops of Gods features Fleur Geffrier and Tomohisa Yamashita. The second season, with eight episodes, premieres on January 21, 2026, and new episodes will be released until the final episode on March 11. The season will reveal how the gods react to a couple enjoying their wine.
