Dragon Ball Heroes Ending: Series Bids Farewell To Epic Finale

As a dedicated follower of the Dragon Ball saga for nearly three decades now, I must say that the conclusion of Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission feels like a bittersweet farewell. The series has been an exciting spin-off, offering fresh adventures and intriguing characters that have added another layer to the rich tapestry of the Dragon Ball universe.

As an ardent Dragon Ball enthusiast, I’ve just got my hands on the ultimate fan book – Super Dragon Ball Heroes – Heroes Memories! This gem was just released by V-Jump Books to commemorate the conclusion of the Dragon Ball Heroes series in Japan. The series, Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission, is a captivating spinoff manga by the talented Toyotarou, inspired by the popular arcade game, Dragon Ball Heroes. I simply can’t get enough of it!

In the concluding chapter of Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission, artist Toyotaru created a vibrant image depicting Beat’s heroic act of saving the world. This grown-up character is now shown. Additionally, it includes an exclusive sneak peek into the storyboard. The book will be launched concurrently with Super Dragon Heroes: Meteor Mission #6.

In Chapter 30, named ‘On to the Next Hero’, we find UI Beat, UI Goku, Super Saiyan 4 Goku, and others looking back on all their past adventures. A leap of 14 years is shown where they are all deep in reminiscing about the good times they shared. As the story progresses, they begin to question whether their actions truly managed to save the world.

Beat has truly grown as he feels now is the time for him to lead the next generation into the tournament. Avatar follows him and Note thanks all the Dragon Ball heroes for their efforts. Note’s final line serves as a touching end to the series, which went on for almost a decade. One thing is for sure, Akira Toriyama would be super proud of the series’ progress.

Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission debuted in the November 2012 issue of V-Jump magazine and concluded its run in November 2015. The fan guide also came with three cards: H-01 P Goku, SH-01 P Goku, and a Hero Avatar Card. It was recently announced that the series would conclude with its final episode in August.

9 years after its debut, Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission concludes under the guidance of mangaka Toyotarou. Known primarily for his work on Dragon Ball Super (originally penned by Akira Toriyama until his passing in March 2024), Toyotarou is now leading the continuation of this series. Keep an eye out for future developments within the Dragon Ball universe.
