In the final episode of Dr. Stone Season 4, titled ‘Light Trap in the Darkness,’ our intrepid scientists made it to America where they stumbled upon statues turned to stone at the bay. Ryusui then split the group into two; one team remained on the ship to gather resources and another was sent along the Sacramento River to hunt for corn.
Tsukasa headed up the combat squad, successfully fending off crocodiles they encountered along the way. Pieces of corn found in one croc’s belly hinted at their proximity to a cornfield. Senku spotted insects and moths around an electric trap, guessing there might be a settlement close by. Later, the team was unexpectedly attacked by someone armed with a machine gun, leading Ukyo to believe another resurrected scientist could be working against them.
Following their successful evasion from a machine gun attack, Dr. Stone Season 4 Episode 4 will reveal to the team about an American individual who’s been revived and holds cutting-edge scientific expertise. Thanks to Tsukasa’s lightning-fast reflexes and Ryusui’s clever planning, the group will make it through this situation unscathed.
The next day breaks, and there appears once again this enigmatic figure, now bearing an even more sophisticated scientific tool, pushing Senku and his companions to their limits. In line with the episode’s title, we come to know him as ‘Xeno Houston Wingfield,’ a character destined for recurring roles within the storyline.
The fourth episode of Dr. Stone Season 4, titled ‘Dr. X’, is scheduled to air on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 10 pm Japanese Standard Time (JST). Global viewers can watch it on the same day, but there might be slight differences due to time zone variations.
