Tom Brady’s representative is dismissing speculation that the former NFL star believes Sofia Vergara is too old for dating. The spokesperson clarified to PEOPLE magazine on Thursday that this notion is entirely untrue.

It’s all fabricated,” said the spokesperson, clarifying the situation after a report claimed Brady rejected dating the Modern Family actress due to her age. The rumor spread rapidly on the internet, but Brady’s team swiftly dismissed it as untrue.
Romance rumors sparked on a luxury yacht
Rumors of a potential summer romance between Tom Brady and Sofía Vergara began to circulate after the two were reportedly quite friendly on the Luminara superyacht voyage. A source shared with Page Six that Brady and Vergara seemed quite flirtatious during their luxurious journey, which set sail from Rome around a week ago.
According to the source, he requested a change of seating arrangements so he could dine beside her. This luxury journey, spanning two nights, offered captivating drone displays and electrifying performances by artists such as Ellie Goulding, Sting, and Janelle Monáe.

The passenger roster for the cruise featured Patrick Schwarzenegger, actress Tessa Thompson, renowned Brazilian singer Anitta, and Irina Shayk, a popular supermodel who was previously involved with Brady.
However, as per the report, it appears that Tom Brady and Sofía Vergara appeared quite fond of each other. An onlooker noted their comfortable demeanor during one of the cruise’s formal dinner events.
Following their yacht adventure, it’s said that the duo carried on spending time together in Ibiza, Spain. Vergara, who celebrated her 53rd birthday on Thursday, has been making the most of her European getaway and documenting her experiences on social media. Meanwhile, Vergara enjoyed partying in Spain, Tom Brady was in Ibiza with his daughter Vivian, who he co-parents with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. Prior to their summer vacation on a yacht and trip to Ibiza, Brady attended the wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez in Venice, Italy, just last month.
