For all you Whovians with young ones, here’s some fantastic news! A brand new animated Doctor Who series is set to debut on BBC’s children’s channel, CBeebies. This channel catering to kids aged six and under is eagerly waiting for the Doctor’s arrival. It remains to be seen which Doctor will grace this animated series or if it’ll introduce a whole new Doctor. Keep an eye out for updates as more details on the baby-friendly Doctor Who animation unfold. However, one thing we can confirm – the animated TARDIS is going to be incredibly cute!

According to Deadline, as reported by the BBC, an animated version of “Doctor Who” is being developed specifically for preschoolers. In this series, the Doctor will journey through time and space, encountering mysteries and problems with companions and friends. Along the way, they’re bound to face a few obstacles too.

Patricia Hidalgo, head of Children’s and Education at CBeebies, announced that the upcoming animated “Doctor Who” series represents an exhilarating step forward for the brand: “We want everyone, including the Doctor, to feel at home on CBeebies. Given the global popularity of this cherished franchise, it seems only fitting that our younger viewers get to enjoy the enchantment and mystery of the Doctor in a fresh, new style. This is an incredibly thrilling prospect, and we can’t wait to invite companies to submit proposals for this innovative project, as we remain dedicated to nurturing and backing the UK’s animation sector.

It’s wonderful that fans of all ages can enjoy a fandom, and it’s especially exciting news for “Doctor Who” enthusiasts, as they now have the opportunity to introduce this series to their younger family members through the new Doctor Who animated series. Soon, we will see a new generation of “Baby Whovians” emerging!

Currently, within the mature realm of “Doctor Who”, Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor has undergone regeneration and departed from the series, with Billie Piper, who previously played Rose Tyler as the Doctor’s companion, still present. Things are quite enigmatic at this point. It’s sad to see Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor go, but there’s a possibility we might encounter an animated version of him in the children’s series someday. As of now, there’s no news about when the show will be back on air.
