Do Wanda’s Actions in ‘WandaVision’ and Billy’s ‘Agatha All Along’ Reveal She Gave Pietro His Powers, Not the Mind Stone?

As a seasoned Marvel enthusiast who’s been following the MCU since its inception, I must say that the latest revelations in WandaVision have truly shaken up my understanding of the universe. It’s fascinating to see how Wanda’s powers seem to extend far beyond what we initially thought, and it’s intriguing to consider the possibility that she could potentially be a key player in introducing mutants into the MCU.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), siblings Wanda and Pietro Maximoff acquired their extraordinary abilities from the Mind Stone, a powerful artifact housed within Loki’s scepter. Wanda’s interaction with the stone imbued her with capabilities such as manipulating objects mentally and altering reality itself.

Contrarily to Pietro, it was through Hydra’s experiments that he acquired extraordinary speed. Hydra played a significant role in granting both Wanda and Pietro their powers. In the movie “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” we learn that Hydra conducted tests on the twins, employing the Mind Stone during these experiments.

In the realm of gaming, I, a character in this epic narrative, found my abilities mysteriously bestowed upon me – Wanda’s powers stemmed from the enigmatic Mind Stone, while Quicksilver, my brother, was granted superhuman speed. Back then, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) was mum on our mutant origins due to Fox holding the rights. However, as the storyline unfolded, hints were subtly dropped that mutants, like us, existed within the MCU’s multiverse.

As a diehard fan, I must admit it’s intriguing how Pietro’s superspeed ties to the Mind Stone. However, what we know is that both he and Wanda shared genetic traits that could unlock powers, which weren’t exclusive to them as other Sokovians carried these markers too. Yet, they were the sole survivors among their kind, which adds a layer of complexity to this connection.

In the series ‘WandaVision’, it’s heavily implied that Wanda’s powers extend far beyond what was previously believed about the Mind Stone. Moreover, it’s suggested that Pietro’s powers were a result of Wanda’s unique capacity to manipulate and alter reality itself.

As a gamer, I’d say, “In the storyline, it was suggested that my powers, as Wanda, manifested during my childhood, when I was trying to shield myself and my brother, Pietro, from a Stark Industries bomb. Interestingly, while I displayed my abilities, Pietro didn’t exhibit any super-speed back then. Later, when the Mind Stone amplified our powers, it’s quite peculiar that Pietro didn’t possess his speed capabilities beforehand, unlike me.

In addition to indicating that Wanda possesses the ability to bestow super-speed, WandaVision demonstrates this through her son Tommy. Despite being a creation born from Wanda’s magic and having no biological link to his “uncle,” Tommy displays super-speed, suggesting that it is an attribute he acquired from Wanda.

Presenting Wanda’s child, Billy, adds another layer of complexity, given his extraordinary ability to manipulate reality unlike any other character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe thus far. Remarkably, he is capable of crafting a whole dimension, known as the Witches Road, solely through his magical prowess.

As he performed his actions, he conjured enchantment within the circle, read the thoughts of his fellow witches, discovered secrets unknowable to him, and caused those very thoughts to materialize in reality.

There’s a slim chance that Wanda and Billy might be responsible for the creation of the X-Men within the MCU. If they possess certain genetic traits and have the power to bestow abilities and alter reality, it could potentially happen.
