As a child of the ’80s and ’90s, I’ve grown up with the enchanting tale of Snow White, and I must say, the trailer for Disney’s live-action musical adaptation has me feeling all sorts of nostalgic! The classic whistle, the woods, and the dwarves – it’s like stepping into a fairy tale.
In 2025, Disney’s classic character Snow White will be given a live-action makeover. Since her debut in the 1937 film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, this iconic Disney princess has been an essential part of many childhood memories. The upcoming movie, titled “Disney’s Snow White“, promises to breathe new life into her story with a musical adaptation. Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot will be stepping into the roles of Snow White and the Evil Queen, respectively. And here’s a sneak peek, as the first trailer for the film has been released.
At this year’s D23 event, spectators got a sneak peek at this new clip. The classic whistle soundtrack echoes as Snow White and her dwarf companions journey through the forest in the trailer. It’s quite surprising to see Gal Gadot portraying an antagonist after her heroic role as Wonder Woman, but she looks fantastic nonetheless. I must admit, it’s a bit puzzling how the mirror could convince her that she’s not the most beautiful one of all, so I’ll have to suspend my disbelief on that point. In summary, the preview for Disney’s Snow White is adorable.
