Disney Reveals Enchanting New Trailer for Live-Action ‘Snow White’!

As a long-time Disney enthusiast who has witnessed the evolution of their magical tales since my childhood, I must admit that the anticipation for ‘Snow White’ is palpable. From the initial announcement in 2016 to the recent release of the new trailer, it’s been an exhilarating rollercoaster ride filled with delays, setbacks, and even a touch of drama – much like the fairy tale itself!

It’s common knowledge now that Disney is working on a live-action adaptation of ‘Snow White,’ with Marc Webb as the director. This new film draws from the 1937 animated movie produced by Disney, which in turn was influenced by the Brothers Grimm’s fairy tale published in 1812.

In the upcoming film, Rachel Zegler will portray Snow White, while Gal Gadot takes on the role of the wicked queen. The project was initially revealed back in 2016, with principal photography taking place in London from March to July 2022. The movie is scheduled for a theater release on March 21, 2025.

Although the film has been surrounded by several debates and disputes, it remains one of Disney’s most eagerly awaited productions. Recently, Disney unveiled a fresh trailer offering another glimpse into the movie.

The production of ‘Snow White’ was originally scheduled to commence in March 2020, however, it was pushed back to July due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Later in August 2021, it was disclosed that filming would occur in the UK from March to July 2022. The production started on March 7, 2022, but unfortunately, a fire occurred and damaged the set on March 15.

It’s fortunate that filming wasn’t happening at that moment. As a result, Rachel Zegler was able to attend the Academy Awards in March, while Gal Gadot filmed her parts. Later on, Gadot expressed her enjoyment portraying the Evil Queen and felt grateful for the opportunity to add a more dramatic touch to her character within the musical setting.

Principal photography was completed in July 2022, and further shooting is scheduled for June 2024. However, the release of this film has experienced multiple delays; it’s now slated to hit theaters on March 21, 2025.
