Disney fans are excited to learn that The Disney Afternoon Collection, a popular set of games from the 1990s, is coming to the Nintendo Switch! Atari and Digital Eclipse announced on Thursday that this updated collection will include six original classics, plus two new additions: Bonkers and Goof Troop. It’s a fantastic release we can hardly wait for, and the good news is we won’t have to! The Disney Afternoon Collection will be available exclusively on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 starting February 26th.
If you grew up watching Disney cartoons in the ’90s, you probably remember the excitement of rushing home to catch your favorite shows. The Disney Afternoon Collection turned those characters into enjoyable video games, and now Nintendo is letting fans relive those classic moments.
Here’s What to Expect
This collection features eight classic games, including six original titles and two brand new ones. Based on the popular cartoon, Bonkers first came out in 1994. Goof Troop, released in 1993, lets players team up with Max and Goofy to solve puzzles. Here’s the complete list of games that will be available at launch.

I’m really excited about this collection! Not only are there tons of great games, but they’ve added some cool new features. I love that I can rewind gameplay if I mess up a level and try again. Plus, each game now has a ‘Boss Rush’ mode where I can fight all the bosses back-to-back, and a ‘Time Attack’ mode to see how fast I can beat them. And while I’m playing, I can listen to the awesome classic soundtrack. They’ve even included a Gallery with four behind-the-scenes exhibits to explore, which is a fantastic bonus!
