However, I was unaware of the full truth – within the confines of this puzzle lay a captive spirit; a pharaoh entombed for over 3,000 years, unveiled later in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters series.

If a misdeed occurs before the boy’s very eyes, it seems as though his spirit assumes control of his body, daring the perpetrator to engage in a game of shadows – a peculiar and potentially hazardous contest that is often a unique creation of his own or an adaptation of existing games, at times resembling Duel Monsters.
