Director of Thunderbolts Explains The New Avengers Marketing Strategy; ‘Pull a Switcheroo and Sell’

It’s now common knowledge that the Thunderbolts aren’t just any team; they are, in fact, the new iteration of the Avengers. As Marvel Studios unveiled a fresh chapter in their storytelling, the filmmakers delivered an unexpected twist that left every superhero enthusiast amazed.

Lately, it appears that Marvel Studios has decided to rename their film “Thunderbolts” to “The New Avengers.

Although Sebastian Stan was spotted wandering through the city, replacing old posters with new ones, director Jake Schreier engaged in a fascinating chat with Variety.

The filmmaker, conversing with the outlet, expressed, “If it seems like character Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s Val might be attempting to deceive the public by promoting the New Avengers, then we can certainly follow suit and do the same.

Later, he emphasized that the asterisk was most suitable for this particular planning process, since it’s been featured on their logo for more than a year.

Additionally, during their discussion, Jake Schreier mentioned that the team found the design to be such that they don’t get sweaty while working on it, making it their intended construction.

The director mentioned that even Marvel Studios found this approach intriguing, as he noted that Kevin Feige occasionally discusses instances where they intentionally let information slip without being disclosed.

Wrapping up his remarks, Jake Schreier showed his enthusiasm about the fresh moniker and the arrival of a new squad within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
