Did Pedro Pascal Just Confirm a Fantastic Four Cameo in Avengers Doomsday? Latest Update Has Fans Talking

According to reports, Pedro Pascal has commenced principal filming for the much-awaited movie titled “Avengers: Doomsday.” Enthusiasts have been treated to a pulse-pounding sneak peek at his Mr. Fantastic costume in an exclusive snap from the set, which was shared on Instagram.

Actor from The Fantastic Four: First Steps shared images of a book he was reading during breaks on the Marvel Studios set. But what really caught the notice of keen-eyed fans wasn’t the content of the book, it was the faint yet unmistakable reflection of Pascal wearing his blue Mister Fantastic costume hidden under his clothing.

Although the final costume seen in First Steps might not be the same, the design suggests a possible return to the original look of the team when they first appeared within the main Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline on Earth-616.

In the upcoming Marvel blockbuster, Avengers: Doomsday, Pascal has been cast alongside Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing. Notably, during the announcement of the cast, it was revealed that Pascal would be joining right before Robert Downey Jr.’s return as a different version of Doctor Doom, according to ComicBookMovie. This suggests that a potential conflict between Reed Richards and Doom could form the basis of this epic tale.

In my perspective as a loyal fan, it’s rumored that the Fantastic Four, as depicted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), hail from a vibrant, 1960s-inspired dimension. This unique backdrop promises an engaging cultural collision when they cross paths with Earth’s most powerful heroes. However, whether their original universe will be their eventual destination post-Secret Wars or if they’ll stay within the MCU timeline remains a mystery for now.

The film “Avengers: Doomsday” will hit the screens on May 1st, 2026, followed by “Avengers: Secret Wars” a year later on May 7th, 2027. In the meantime, Marvel Cinematic Universe enthusiasts can enjoy the latest release of “Thunderbolts”, featuring Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour and other stars, which is currently playing in cinemas worldwide.

*Note: Thunderbolts is a team of superheroes and supervillains in Marvel Comics. The movie version has not yet been officially confirmed by Marvel Studios, but it’s rumored to be under development with the mentioned cast members.
