According to reports, conservative commentator Ashley St. Clair alleges she had a baby with tech magnate Elon Musk. As per The Wall Street Journal on April 15, the multibillionaire proposed a financial agreement to conceal the child’s parentage. The article states that Musk’s representatives offered St. Clair a one-time payment of $15 million and $100,000 monthly installments until the child reached the age of 21.
A news outlet additionally shared that the child, who arrived approximately five months before Ashley St. Clair’s public post in February, was given the name Romulus. It appears that Elon Musk’s name was not included on the birth certificate, and a recent DNA test suggests with an incredibly high certainty of 99.9999% that Elon Musk is the child’s father.
According to reports from The Wall Street Journal, in private messages, Musk told St. Clair that he ranked second, following Trump, in terms of potential targets for assassination. He also implied that the public learning about his child could potentially be dangerous, using the phrase “only the paranoid survive.
According to reports, St. Clair reportedly rejected the proposal, as she believed the secrecy would make her son feel unwanted or illegitimate. Additionally, she was worried that the contract did not include protections for her child’s future, such as insurance for critical illnesses or a trust fund if Musk passed away before their son reached the age of 21.
After St. Clair disclosed the child’s birth in a public post on X (previously known as Twitter) on February 14, it appears that Elon Musk adjusted his financial offer. According to The Wall Street Journal, Musk is said to have lowered the monthly payments from $100,000 to $40,000 initially, and then later to $20,000.
In her post, St. Clair shared that five months ago, she gave birth to a new baby, with Elon Musk being the father. Previously, she had chosen not to reveal this information in order to safeguard the child’s privacy and security. She expressed her desire for their child to grow up in a typical and secure environment, and requested that the media respect their child’s privacy as well.
In March, Musk addressed matter X by stating: “I’m unsure if the child in question is mine or not, but I am open to determining the truth without legal intervention. No court order is necessary for this purpose. As it stands, I have already given Ashley 2.5 million dollars and will provide her with an additional 500 thousand dollars annually.”
Though Elon Musk hasn’t explicitly acknowledged it, media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal claim that a DNA test indicates a high likelihood of him being the child’s father. On Tuesday night, Musk shared a mysterious tweet saying, “TMZ > WSJ,” possibly alluding to these recent reports.
I take pride in sharing that various sources suggest I’m a father to at least fourteen children, spread across relationships with several remarkable individuals. Among them are my former wife, the talented author Justine Musk, the creative genius Grimes, and Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink – all of whom have significantly enriched my life in their unique ways.
