It seems that there was a disagreement or fallout between Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and his former Da Band member Freddy P following an unspecified event. Recently, Chopper – who is also known as ‘Young City’ and was another member of the group – disclosed an alleged incident in which Diddy, founder of Bad Boy Records, reportedly made a threat against Freddy P, suggesting he might harm or kill him.
Based on accounts, Chopper mentioned this alleged incident during his conversation on The Art of Dialogue podcast. He revealed that they were all gathered at the home of the I’ll Be Missing You rapper while shooting MTV’s Making The Band. It was supposedly during this period that Diddy is said to have made threats towards Freddy P.
The helicopter pilot seemed taken aback by the occurrence, more so because the two men had recently shared a cigarette. In his chat, the musician admitted that Freddy allegedly made a clever remark which supposedly angered Diddy.
In simpler terms, Young City stated, “He asked MTV to shut down their cameras and exit the room,” followed by explaining that the head of Bad Boy Records started acting freely once the camera team had departed.
As per Chopper’s assertions, it is said that Diddy warned a former Da Band member, hinting he would buy Freddy’s entire neighborhood block and force everyone to relocate. Moreover, Diddy reportedly stated, “Whenever you step outside, someone will be firing at you.
In an interview, it emerged that Freddy chose to depart from Da Band due to this specific event. Chopper stated that Freddy harbored anger towards Diddy and felt strongly about wanting to confront him on the spot.
Chopper conveyed that the ex-Da Band member held positive intentions and felt let down by the current condition of the music industry.
