As a long-time fan of Marvel movies and comics, I can’t help but get excited about every little detail that gets revealed about the future of the MCU. And the possible team-up between Thor and Deadpool is no exception.

In “Deadpool & Wolverine,” Matthew Macfadyen’s character, Paradox, presented an alluring proposition to Wade Wilson (Deadpool) in an attempt to lure him out of his universe. He proposed that Deadpool could become a member of the Avengers, showing him past accomplishments of Earth-616’s most powerful heroes as evidence. However, during this pitch, Paradox inadvertently revealed something Deadpool wasn’t supposed to see.

In the MCU storyline, Deadpool wasn’t meant to witness that event as it hadn’t occurred yet. However, unexpectedly, Deadpool came across himself injured and Thor offering him comfort. This poignant encounter was significant enough for Deadpool to allude to it later in the movie. Nevertheless, that interaction never transpired in reality. As a result, fans of MCU are left pondering: will Deadpool and Thor team up in an upcoming film, or was their encounter merely a humorous plot twist?

There’s no way to know because Marvel Studios probably doesn’t know yet, either.

The interaction between Thor and Deadpool in potential battles was brief but revealing. Their relationship seemed deeply personal and emotional. When Thor saw Deadpool’s state, he showed genuine concern, suggesting they had already formed a strong bond. But when and why this bond developed remains unclear. Which movie or Disney+ show are we referring to where we crave more insight into their shared history?

In addition, there are queries regarding the specific sequence itself. The locations are unknown (in reference to planets and universes). When is this event scheduled to occur? Who will be engaged in combat? Is this a possibility for “Secret Wars” or another upcoming “Avengers” production?

As a die-hard fan, I pondered if Deadpool’s impending demise, as hinted in the cryptic TVA monitor clip, was an empty threat. The way it unfolded on the screen brought to mind the exaggerated Asgardian performances from the Thor movies. Could it be that Deadpool and Thor would share a profound connection during this supposedly grave moment? But upon closer inspection, it could just be another instance of two larger-than-life characters engaging in their signature cinematic silliness.

In simpler terms, Deadpool was able to witness an encounter between him and an unfamiliar superhero due to the unique nature of the Time Variance Authority (TVA). Situated beyond the constraints of time and space, the TVA permits the coexistence of past, present, and future events. However, since various occurrences can drastically alter the Sacred Timeline, that specific moment may not have transpired in reality. The disappearance of variants into the Void further adds to the uncertainty. Additionally, the TVA keeps track of every multiverse branch, meaning what Deadpool saw might have featured a distinct Deadpool and Thor, neither of whom we’ve encountered before.

The “Deadpool & Wolverine” scene may have just been a humorous wink from director Shawn Levy towards Marvel Cinematic Universe fans, eagerly anticipating future developments. If this moment never materializes into a full storyline, the joke becomes even more amusing as fans continue to hope and wait for it to unfold.

As a long-time Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fan, I’ve grown accustomed to the intricacies and subtlety of their storytelling. So when I came across that Deadpool and Thor scene, I couldn’t help but wonder: is it a mere joke or a future promise? The film left us hanging with that cliffhanger, leaving every possibility open.
