After the recent failed deal with Alliance Entertainment, Diamond Comic Distributors has now been taken over by Universal Distribution LLC and Ad Populum.

The announcement came Friday, which follows months of uncertainty, bankruptcy, and legal troubles.

Who bought what?

According to the official statement, it’s been announced that Diamond Comic Distributors, based in Canada, have taken over the resources of Alliance Game Distributors.

Ad Populum, the brand management and distribution powerhouse behind well-known labels such as NECA, Rubies, WizKids, Kidrobot, and Party City, has taken over the resources of Diamond Comic Distributors, Diamond Book Distributors, Diamond Select Toys & Collectibles, Collectible Grading Authority, and related assets.

Diamond UK remains separate from this sale process.
