‘Descendants 5’ Expands Cast with Robin Hood, Dr. Facilier & Mr. Smee’s Kids!

Excitement builds as Disney’s much-awaited fifth installment of the Descendants series broadens its ensemble! Four fresh faces have signed up to be part of the forthcoming musical fantasy production, set to debut both on Disney+’s streaming platform and television via Disney Channel.

The performers Joel Oulette (“Trickster”), Zavien Garrett (“The Flash”), Ryan McEwen (“Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies”), and Dayton Paradis have all confirmed their participation. Production is about to kick off, and audiences can look forward to additional enchanting journeys starring the offspring of famous Disney characters.

  • Joel Oulette will play Robbie Hood, the son of Robin Hood, a legendary hero known for stealing from the rich to help the poor.
  • Zavien Garrett takes on the role of Felix Facilier, the son of Dr. Facilier, the cunning villain from The Princess and the Frog.
  • Ryan McEwen and Dayton Paradis will portray Squirmy Smee and Squeaky Smee, the mischievous twin sons of Mr. Smee from Peter Pan.

Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker will reprise their roles as Princess Red (daughter of the Queen of Hearts) and Princess Chloe (daughter of Cinderella). Leonardo Nam returns to portray Maddox Hatter, the son of the Mad Hatter.

Several other new descendants will make their debut in this film, including:

  • Liamani Segura as Pink, Red’s sister
  • Brendon Tremblay as Max Hatter, Maddox Hatter’s son
  • Alexandro Byrd as Luis Madrigal, Luisa Madrigal’s son from Encanto
  • Kiara Romero as Hazel Hook, daughter of Captain Hook

The movie is Kimmy Gatewood who’s in charge of the direction, while Tamara Chestna, Dan Frey, and Ru Sommer are responsible for the scriptwriting. Suzanne Todd and Gary Marsh will be back as executive producers, with Gatewood additionally taking on a co-producer role. Emmy-winning choreographer Emilio Dosal is joining us to design breathtaking dance routines.
