Here’s why this baby news feels extra special
In the thrilling year of 2023, I found myself standing alongside my beloved partners-in-dance, Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert, as they exchanged their heartfelt vows. But little did we know, the real dance was about to begin, a terrifying one that would make our celebration even more profoundly meaningful.
Towards the end of 2024, during one of her tours, Erbert experienced a critical health issue. During a show, she suffered a seizure behind the scenes and was immediately taken to a hospital. Upon examination, doctors found a serious brain hemorrhage, necessitating an emergency operation.
Initially, it wasn’t clear how Erbert would fare, but he managed to make a complete recovery and resumed his normal daily activities. It’s been almost a year since Erbert faced a health crisis, and now this couple is joyously marking a significant event in their lives.
