Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle continues to be a box office hit, recently achieving a new record and becoming one of the top five highest-grossing films worldwide for 2025.
The movie has made over $757 million around the world, making it the fifth highest-grossing film of the year, according to Box Office Mojo.
This dark fantasy movie, created by Ufotable and directed by Haruo Sotozaki, picks up where the anime’s fourth season left off. It adapts the thrilling “Infinity Castle” story arc from Koyoharu Gotouge’s widely loved manga.
This Demon Slayer movie is different from the previous ones. Instead of simply combining existing anime episodes, it was made as a brand new, full-length movie, offering fans a completely fresh experience.
The epic conclusion is here! Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle arrives in theaters September 12th.

While a few viewers felt the movie moved too quickly, most people have reacted very positively. Fans are enthusiastically sharing their excitement online, and one person described it as exactly what a big-screen anime experience should be: full of feeling and energy.
Infinity Castle’s performance proves that Demon Slayer is consistently becoming more popular with each new installment.
