The first trailer for the new film I Love Boosters, directed and written by Boots Riley, has been released, starring Demi Moore and Keke Palmer. It will premiere at the SXSW Film and Television Festival in Austin and will be in theaters on May 22nd, distributed by Neon.

The story centers around Palmer’s character, Corvette, a confident leader who orchestrates a heist with her team. They target a rich fashion designer, played by Moore, with the goal of stealing clothes from her stores and reselling them at more affordable prices.
The trailer showcases the characters’ vibrant personalities. Palmer’s character, while admiring a Corvette, expresses a desire for instant gratification, saying, “I want to take it all home, heat it up, and just experience it fully—it feels like it should already be mine.” Moore’s character responds with a quick-witted, though somewhat edgy, retort: “They steal my stuff and resell it because they’re just… not sophisticated, with all respect to those who are.”
