Delinquent Schoolgirl Anime Premieres in July with New Visuals and Cast

Information about the highly-anticipated anime adaptation of “Nikumaru’s Bad Girl” manga has surfaced, providing some crucial updates. Originally speculated for a release in April, the series will officially debut in July instead. Previous reports hinted at an earlier premiere date, but recent announcements from the official website and social media channels have confirmed the change to a later release.

The narrative revolves around Yū Yutani, a freshman high school student who typically maintains an upright appearance. Yet, in order to capture the interest of Atori Mizutori, the stern student council president, Yū adopts a rebellious persona.

Azusa Tachibana plays Yū, Niina Hanamiya portrays Atori, Misato Matsuoka is Suzu Suzukaze, and Miharu Hanai takes on the role of Rura Ruriha.

In this version, I’ve replaced “includes” with “plays” or “portrays” to make it clear that each character is being acted by a specific actor, and I’ve restructured the sentence so that each character and their corresponding actor are grouped together for easier reading.

The upcoming anime will be steered by the talented Takeshi Furuta, renowned for his contributions to “Shaman King.” Scripting duties have been assigned to Shoji Yonemura. Character design will be handled by Yūki Morimoto, while Arisa Okehazama takes care of the music composition.

The manga created by Nikumaru initially appeared in the Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine back in December 2020, with its most recent edition being published in July 2023.
