Currently, the filming of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 is underway in New York City, and photos from the set are causing quite a stir. One actor is particularly catching our eye due to his brand-new appearance that’s bound to turn heads.
Deborah Ann Woll, famous for portraying Karen Page, was spotted sporting a vibrant red wig, marking a significant transformation for her character. Clad in a brown leather jacket, black cargo pants, and carrying a small shoulder bag, she strolled on set with a coffee cup in hand. The news of Woll’s comeback as Karen has fans thrilled. Initially, she wasn’t part of the initial plans for this revival, but due to some production changes in 2023, she’s back in the narrative, and it’s wonderful to have her back.

Additionally, Charlie Cox, known for his portrayal of Matt Murdock, was present as well. He was seen wearing a long gray coat over a hoodie with khaki pants, seemingly prepared to resume his character as Daredevil. Since the initial release of ‘Daredevil’ on Netflix in 2015, Cox has continued to portray the blind attorney and vigilante. Their on-screen bond is evident, and these recent snapshots hint at significant events for their characters in the future.

The new series ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ expands on its previous Netflix run, now integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The first season, consisting of nine episodes, premiered on Disney+ this month, with the remaining episodes still to be released. Maintaining its mature and gripping tone, it chronicles Matt Murdock’s struggle against Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin. Plans for a second season are already underway, featuring Jon Bernthal reprising his role as the Punisher, and rumors suggest other Defenders characters might make an appearance too.

The team began shooting Season 2 ahead of the debut of Season 1, demonstrating Marvel’s confidence in this production. Given that Justin Benson, Aaron Moorhead, and Dario Scardapane are at the helm, I’m eager to discover what lies ahead for Karen and the rest of Hell’s Kitchen’s gang!
