On August 31st, the 36-year-old actress shared an announcement on her social media platforms, informing her fans that she had welcomed a baby girl named Aspen Dior Jenkins. This precious bundle of joy was conceived through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

In 2020, the couple became engaged and in 2021, they exchanged vows, sharing their joy on social media about being a duo with a new addition to their family. Just a few hours after her birth, a photo of the couple with baby Aspen was shared on Instagram. Featherson referred to his newly born daughter, less than two weeks old, as a divine gift and possibly the happiest start to life they’ve ever experienced.

She wrote, “Love Has Never Been Deeper. It’s Impossible To Deny That She Is Heaven Sent. These Are The BEST Days Of Our Lives.”

In her article, she also shared an interesting detail: Aspen, being a Virgo, entered the world accompanied by the melodies of “Endless Love” and later, “Superpower,” none other than Beyoncé’s tunes. She penned, “Aspen Was Born With ‘Endless Love’ Playing Followed By Beyoncé’s ‘Superpower’, True to Her Virgo Nature.”

According to People magazine, Featherson and her husband Darroll Jenkins became parents on August 23rd, as they welcomed their newborn daughter named Aspen at 8:33 AM. At birth, the little one weighed approximately seven pounds.

Featherson frequently talked about her In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) cycles publicly, including before she became pregnant. She also provided updates on Instagram. A video documenting this experience, set to the tune of Beyoncé’s song “Protector,” was shared by her and showcased her husband, which she posted on April 15.

The video opened showing Featherson expressing excitement over the upcoming baby and sharing her anticipation for carrying it. It showed the beginning of her acupuncture treatment, followed by a series of PIO injections over a ten-week period, all leading up to the embryo transfer process.

In the course of the video, the actress at some point displayed an image of her embryo, expressing delight as she announced that she was expecting a ‘precious’ girl. The video captured the couple’s happiness throughout the embryo transfer process and when the doctor confirmed they were now officially pregnant.
