‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ BTS Photos Reveal That Short King Wolverine is Not Hugh Jackman Shrunk Down and Fans Are Losing It

As a seasoned gamer and comic book enthusiast with over three decades of fandom under my belt, I can confidently say that ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ has surpassed all expectations. The movie is a testament to fan service at its finest, bringing back iconic characters and delivering a thrilling ride filled with humor and action.

‘The newest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, featuring Deadpool and Wolverine, has been shattering box office records and thrilling audiences globally. A significant part of its triumph can be attributed to fan service, as it not only brings back two of Marvel’s most renowned live-action characters but also showcases multiple versions of Deadpool and Wolverine.’

At the beginning of the movie, Deadpool initiates a journey to track down an alternate version of Wolverine, hailing from Earth-10005. In the storyline of ‘Logan’, this Wolverine met his demise, causing Deadpool to frantically try to traverse dimensions in order to find another Wolverine, who he hopes can prevent his own world from falling apart.

As I delved into the gaming world of Deadpool, I stumbled upon some truly mind-blowing (and side-splitting) iterations of Wolverine. Among them were Old Man Logan, Wolverine from the Age of Apocalypse, the Cavillerine, and even a pint-sized version dubbed Short King Wolverine.

Initially, some fans criticized Hugh Jackman‘s casting as Wolverine due to his height difference from the character in the comics, who is 5’3″. However, standing at 6’2″, Jackman brought a taller version of the iconic character to life. In a playful nod to this longstanding debate, the movie introduced a variant of Wolverine known as “Short King” Wolverine.

Initially, many fans believed that the character of Short King Wolverine on screen was merely Hugh Jackman with digital enhancements. But it has been revealed that this is not the case; instead, a different actor portrays him, and the fanbase erupted in excitement upon learning this fact!

Wow, I assumed it was just a poorly done CGI on Hugh, but you’re saying there actually exists a Wolverine who perfectly matches the comics in terms of his height? Incredible!
