Deadpool & Wolverine Brings Back TONS Of Marvel, Fox Characters; Here’s Every Cameo We Caught In Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman’s Movie

As a dedicated fan of Marvel movies, I have been eagerly anticipating the release of “Deadpool & Wolverine.” Having followed the development of this film closely, I am thrilled to see so many familiar faces making cameos in it. Shawn Levy’s promise that these appearances wouldn’t overshadow the story but instead be seamlessly integrated into it piqued my interest even more.

Shawn Levy, the film’s director, previously mentioned in interviews that despite numerous cameo roles in the movie, they don’t outshine the main story but rather are seamlessly woven into it. There’s been a lot of chatter online about possible cameos from different characters, some of which have been confirmed while others remain uncertain.

Jon Favreau comes back as Happy Hogan

Favreau has been Tony Stark’s devoted right-hand man since 2008, playing a crucial role in establishing the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Earth-616. In a flashback from March 2018, Wade Wilson encounters Happy there. Wilson expresses his desire to join the Avengers, but Happy denies him, instead vowing to monitor him closely and wishing him luck.

Tyler Mane as Sabretooth

As a die-hard fan of the X-Men universe, I can hardly contain my excitement as Tyler Mane once again breathes life into the menacing character of Sabretooth. In the thrilling fusion of Deadpool and Wolverine, our anti-heroes engage in an intense brawl that leaves Sabretooth’s once imposing form reduced to a headless carcass.

Henry Cavill as The Cavillrine

In the DC Extended Universe, Henry Cavill portrays Superman with a new twist. Let’s call it “The Cavillverse” Wolverine. Introduced by Deadpool in his movie, this grittier Wolverine adaptation made an appearance during Deadpool’s multiverse expedition after he pilfered TemPad from the TVA (Time Variance Authority).

Rob McElhenney as a TVA Soldier

Rob McElhenney, a well-known actor from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, joins the cast as one of the TVA soldiers. Being a close friend of Reynolds and a co-owner of Wrexham AFC, an English football team, McElhenney received an invitation from Reynolds to be part of the film production taking place in London.

Chris Evans as Johnny Storm/Human Torch

In an unexpected turn of events, Chris Evans, formerly known for his role as Johnny Storm, or Human Torch, in the 2005 and 2007 Fantastic Four films, makes a return. This time around, he isn’t wielding his fiery powers as part of the Fantastic Four, but rather crossing paths with Deadpool and Wolverine in The Void – an otherworldly realm. Tragically, Johnny is killed by Cassandra Nova. However, true to form, Johnny makes a reappearance during the end credits scene, trading his signature sass and smack talk about Nova.

Wesley Snipes as Blade

Stephen Norrington’s 1998 film “Blade” is widely regarded as the trailblazer for comic book movies. In this groundbreaking production, Wesley Snipes portrays the titular character, Blade, who makes a witty reference to Mahershala Ali’s later delayed Blade reboot.

Jennifer Garner as Elektra

Jennifer Garner reprises her role as the character Elektra, which she originally played in Daredevil (2003) and its follow-up film. In the latest project, Deadpool & Wolverine, Elektra joins forces with Deadpool, Wolverine, and other characters; they encounter each other during their journey through The Void.

Channing Tatum as Gambit

After much persistence over the years, Channing Tatum will now portray the role of Gambit in an upcoming solo film, a part previously played by Taylor Kitsch in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Initially, Tatum came close to claiming this role in X-Men: The Last Stand, but ultimately it was scrapped from the final version. In Deadpool and Wolverine, Tatum demonstrates his comedic abilities alongside Elektra and Blade on the opposing team.

Dafne Keen as Laura/X-23

Dafne Keen returns to her character as Laura or X-23 in the new Deadpool and Wolverine project. In this installment, she teams up with Wade Wilson, Hugh Jackman’s Logan, Elektra, Gambit, and Blade. Together, they aim to infiltrate Cassie Nova’s stronghold before escaping The Void’s grasp.

Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15

As an obsessed fan, I can’t contain my excitement when Hunter B-15, brilliantly portrayed by Wunmi Mosaku, makes her entrance in the latter stages of the film. Known for her compelling performances in Loki, she now grabs my full attention as she receives a distressing message. An unauthorized use of a time ripper device has been detected within the domain of Mr. Paradox, and it’s Hunter B-15’s responsibility to investigate and put a stop to this dangerous breach of rules.

Matthew McConaughey as Cowboypool

Matthew McConaughey makes his Marvel Cinematic Universe entrance by portraying Cowboypool, a Deadpool version with an unseen face. This is his first MCU role following his decline of the part in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, where he was offered the role of Ego.

Blake Lively as Ladypool

Since 2012, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds’ spouse, joins the cast in an cameo role. Her character is Lady Deadpool, a female adaptation of Deadpool. Among the numerous Deadpool versions escaping from The Void, she is one of them.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s kids

In the movie, Reynolds and Lively are parents to three kids. Their eldest child, a girl named James, takes on the role of a shrieking monster. Seven-year-old Inez is featured as Kidpool, while one-year-old Olin makes an appearance as Babypool.

Nathan Fillion as Headpool

In the movie, Nathan Fillion, an actor with both Canadian and American citizenship, provides the voice for the character Headpool. This role involves floating aimlessly around without a physical body, as suggested by its name. Fillon is most recognized for portraying Captain Malcolm Reynolds in the Firefly television show.

Paul Mullin as Welshpool

I’m a devoted fan of the vibrant town represented by Welshpool. This unique character is personified by none other than Paul Mullin, who graces the pitch as Wrexham AFC’s tenacious striker. In an intriguing twist, Wrexham Football Club shares ownership with Ryan Reynolds – yes, that Ryan Reynolds! You might recognize him from the silver screen where he brings Deadpool to life in movies.

Each brief or extended appearance by a cameo character in this film serves to enrich the plot, providing fans with a delightful blend of nostalgia, unexpected twists, and enjoyable moments. The thrill and intrigue of Deadpool and Wolverine are heightened further by some notable appearances from various other films. This movie not only brings back beloved characters from the Marvel cinematic universe but also introduces new faces and variants that introduce multiverse concepts into its narrative.

Since July 26, Deadpool and Wolverine have been showing in cinemas around the world. This film offers a hilarious and action-packed experience with plenty of special appearances, making it a must-see for Marvel fans.
