The first issue of *Deadpool/Batman* is now available, and it introduces a new character created by combining elements of both Marvel and DC universes. Say hello to LOGO, a blend of Wolverine and Lobo!
LOGO Revealed
The character LOGO first appears in the backup stories of *Deadpool/Batman #1*. As the name suggests, LOGO is a combination of Wolverine and Lobo.
He’s portrayed as a throwback to the rough, rugged characters like Lobo and Wolverine, while fully embodying Lobo’s wild and dramatic bounty hunter style.
LOGO is a wild character: he rides a futuristic motorcycle decorated with skulls, has claws like Wolverine, and boasts a loud, aggressive personality, declaring himself the toughest being in the cosmos.
Why LOGO Matters
The introduction of LOGO marks one of the first new Marvel/DC fusion characters in decades.
As someone who grew up reading comics, seeing this film brought back a flood of memories – specifically, the fun, bizarre team-ups from the old Amalgam Comics series. If you recall those, like the wonderfully weird Dark Claw – a mix of Wolverine and Batman – you’ll have a good idea of the kind of playful energy this movie is going for.
LOGO builds on that history with a fresh, intense take. This change shows Marvel and DC are open to exploring the idea further during this team-up, potentially leading to even more combined characters in the future.
What’s Next
The first issue of *Deadpool/Batman*, written by Zeb Wells and illustrated by Greg Capullo, kicks off a two-part crossover event.
DC’s Batman/Deadpool #1 by Grant Morrison and Dan Mora arrives in November.
Now that the LOGO has been revealed, fans are eager to see if hints of other character combinations will appear, and if Deadpool and Batman will eventually battle each other.
