He gratefully acknowledged that he had the privilege of portraying a truly exceptional character on the series for more than ten years. Moreover, he acknowledged the deeply moving love story between Chad and Abigail by declaring it as one of the most iconic romantic duos in daytime television history.
Flynn expressed his enthusiasm for this fresh challenge and the upcoming opportunity, stating furthermore that he has already showcased his acting skills in the original series for over a decade, as well as its spin-offs such as Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem and Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas.
He received three Daytime Emmys for his acting work on the soap opera “Peacock,” specifically “Days of Our Lives.” The show’s executive producer, Ken Corday, stated that Flynn would be dearly missed in Salem, the fictional town where the series takes place.
