The scene opens as EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) provokes Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) by boasting about his relationship with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis). At The Bistro, Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas) deepens her friendship with Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz), sharing wisdom about love. However, it’s in the park where a dangerous situation arises—Xander confides in Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) that his anger has escalated into a lethal plan. Despite Sarah’s attempts to reason with him, Xander persists in his desire to kill Brady, believing his revenge is warranted.
In a bid to thwart Xander, Sarah understands the urgency of taking immediate action to protect Brady’s life. Simultaneously, Xander’s accomplice, Brian D. Cohen, makes sure Brady is given drugs and left in a weakened condition, paving the way for Xander’s decisive action. Xander intends to use an undetectable firearm to carry out his objective, but Sarah has a counter strategy. She reaches out to Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu), hoping she can step in before it’s all over.
