The Johnny DiMera saga has me on the edge of my seat. It seems our troubled heartthrob might not be as squeaky clean as we thought, but hey, who among us hasn’t made a mistake or two in Salem?
On Thursday’s episode of “Days of Our Lives,” Carson Boatman’s character, Johnny DiMera, experiences a tumultuous mix of feelings upon discovering his surprise party. After accusing Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) of being unfaithful with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), Johnny starts to question if he misunderstood the situation. As the facts come to light, Johnny grapples with feelings of guilt and remorse. However, could there be more to his tale than what initially appears?

It seems like Johnny had thought Chanel was secretly dating Alex on set, but it looks like Abigail Klein’s character, Stephanie Johnson, might be able to clarify the situation. Previously, Bruce Beatty’s character, Seth Burns, had confused Stephanie with Alex’s co-star and called her “Faith.” However, it appears that Stephanie is prepared to reveal that she was actually the one who had a relationship with Alex, not Chanel.
As John discovers that Alex’s true partner isn’t Chanel, he will be shocked by the harsh words he spoke towards her. An apology seems imminent, but it appears John may also have secrets to conceal. It’s suspected that John was unfaithful with Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) the night before, a situation he might try to keep quiet for now. However, Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) has already noticed something amiss, having found a wedding ring in Joy’s hotel room, which could lead to complications.
In another part of the storyline, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is plagued by Hattie Adams’ (Deidre Hall) supposed curse, which appears to be causing turmoil for Body & Soul. Concerned that the show may not survive this predicament, Leo confides in Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) about his worries.
Meanwhile, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) expresses anger towards Abe Carver (James Reynolds), accusing him of causing Chanel’s marital troubles. Paulina contends that Chanel wouldn’t be in this predicament if Abe hadn’t made her take on the role of “Faith” opposite Alex’s “Arrow.” In simpler terms, she believes Abe is responsible for Chanel’s problems because he cast her in a play opposite Alex.
Meanwhile, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) becomes irate due to Stephanie’s unprofessional actions toward Alex on set. Facing dismissal from her PR position, Kate is ready to make a significant move. But then, Alex intervenes with an emotional appeal, and his strong defense could potentially change Kate’s perspective.
As Johnny acknowledges his errors and realizes Chanel’s innocence, mysteries and tension persistently simmer in Salem. Will Johnny’s apology suffice to mend things with Chanel, or will his own unfaithfulness surface?
