Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Will EJ Make Brady Pay Despite Sarah’s Recant?

As a long-time fan who has weathered countless twists and turns in Salem, I must say that this week’s Days of Our Lives is shaping up to be quite the rollercoaster ride! The tension between EJ, Sarah, and Xander regarding Brady’s fate is palpable. It seems like every time they think they’ve found a way out, another obstacle pops up. I can almost hear Bo and Hope whispering, “Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water!

On Thursday’s episode of “Days of Our Lives,” the atmosphere became tense as EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) held his ground against Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). With Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) life on the line, Sarah’s effort to recant her statement encountered a significant hurdle. Simultaneously, Clyde Weston (James Read) embarked on a devious plan that could pose a threat to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).

Days of Our Lives Spoilers and Highlights

Regardless of Sarah’s attempts to withdraw her accusation against Brady, EJ stubbornly refuses to back down. This stance by EJ maintains the 10-year plea deal he made, placing Sarah and Xander in a predicament. They require Brady’s freedom to secure a possible paralysis cure from Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), but EJ’s unwavering position complicates their scheme. As Xander grows more enraged towards EJ, the tension increases; however, his outbursts fail to sway EJ’s decision.

As an utterly dedicated admirer, I can’t help but follow Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) relentless quest for justice, pressing Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas) for a confession. I have this nagging feeling that Fiona was behind Sarah’s hit-and-run, yet despite my persistent questioning and the waiter’s verification that Fiona left with Brady, she vehemently denies any part in it. With no solid evidence to back me up, Eric finds himself at a standstill, but his determination to free Brady remains undeterred.

Elsewhere, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) chats with Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), who provides updates on Chad’s journey to Paris with “Abigail DiMera” (AnnaLynne McCord). In the City of Love, “Abigail” maintains her facade, feigning memory recovery and even proposing marriage to Chad. However, Chad is unaware that this romantic gesture is a carefully planned scheme masterminded by Clyde Weston.

During a prison meeting, Clyde instructs Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) with a startling directive – to eliminate Chad once their marriage is formalized. Although Dr. Greene expresses reservations, Clyde presses ahead with his scheme, aiming to make “Abigail” a wealthy widow post-marriage. This move would pave the way for her to lay claim to a substantial portion of the DiMera family fortune.
