As a longtime fan with over three decades of Days of Our Lives under my belt, I must say this week’s episodes have been nothing short of thrilling! The Bonnie-Hattie feud has me on the edge of my seat – it’s like watching a cat and mouse game that’s been going on for years. It seems Hattie’s manipulations have finally caught up with Bonnie, but I can’t help but root for the underdog.
In the soap opera “Days of Our Lives”, on Tuesday, October 1st, Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) experiences the repercussions of her upcoming departure from Body & Soul, which triggers a strong opposition. At the same time, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) negotiate a deal, while Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) encounters a hurdle in his professional journey.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers and Highlights
Bonnie is enraged following the discovery that Hattie Adams has masterminded the exit of Bonnie’s character from Body & Soul. Fearing a departure herself, Hattie demanded Bonnie’s removal, which resulted in Leo Stark creating a tragic ending for Kassandra. Betrayed and infuriated, Bonnie is set to vent her anger towards Hattie, while Hattie appears triumphant, applauding Abe Carver and Kate Roberts Brady for backing her move.
In the meantime, Alex and Chanel are trying to mend their friendship after a difficult phase. They’ve agreed to move forward as friends following some negotiations. However, things get tricky for Johnny. Since there’s a romantic scene coming up between Chanel and Alex in the film, he voices his discomfort and proposes that Kate reconsiders his role as director. But Kate disagrees, stating it’s no longer possible to replace him at this stage, and urges Johnny to maintain a professional attitude.
Amid these ongoing events, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) wrestles with her emotions towards Alex. Although she attempts to keep their bond purely friendly, Stephanie finds herself unable to suppress thoughts about Alex and the strong connection they’ve shared in the past. Torn between feelings, she seeks advice from Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu), confiding in her about her vivid dreams involving Alex. Jada provides counsel, encouraging Stephanie to acknowledge her true emotions but also to allow herself time to mourn Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) before entering into a fresh relationship.
