In another context, Leo, a person who’s undergone therapy sessions, feels confident about psychiatric jargon now. He begins to ponder if Hattie could be a separate identity within his cherished canine companion, Marlena.
Rather than questioning Marlena outright, Leo leaps to an unusual guess. It’s evident that Leo’s overconfidence reveals his lack of intelligence, as he believes his mistaken presumptions make him more intelligent than he truly is.
