Days of Our Lives May 28 Episode Recap: Does Rachel Know Who Shot EJ? Here’s What She Tells Kristen

In the May 28th edition of Days of Our Lives, Belle visits Alex’s office where they engage in a discussion centered around Philip and the robbery he orchestrated. Belle expresses her belief that his actions were driven by noble intentions, aiming to rectify matters with Xander.

Alex shares that she spotted Xander the day prior, and his behavior was distinctly different at around the same time when Philip was assaulted. It’s unclear if Xander is connected to the attack on Philip, but if he is and Philip remains unconscious, there’s a concern about what will become of both DiMera and Titan companies.

Abe senses something is off with Kate

In the hospital, following Roman’s assurance that Philip was improving and would soon awake, Kate requests her husband to leave and begin preparing breakfast at home. As she encounters Abe and Paulina, a conversation ensues between them.

After Paulina leaves to grab coffee, Abe inquires about the certainty with which Kate identified Xander as Phillip’s potential attacker. Instead of responding, Kate hastily departs to visit Philip’s physician.

What does Rachel tell Kristen?

In the episode, EJ and Kristen discuss John and the hospital matter, but things get heated as Kristen angrily tells EJ that she cannot secure Brady’s vote on this issue. She additionally criticizes her brother for his actions, even though he insists that he has reformed himself.

Following EJ’s departure, Rachel confides in Kristen that she hasn’t been feeling well, and since the tea party, she’s had persistent stomach pain. Rachel speculates that it wasn’t physical sickness she was experiencing, but rather emotional upset. Later, Rachel brings up a troubling dream she had after her birthday. In addition, she mentions an incident where she heard a gunshot, not in a dream, but in reality.

The episode further depicted an interaction between EJ and Johnny. At the town square, EJ attempted to contact Johnny, only for him to walk off. Pursuing him, EJ stumbled. Immediately after, Johnny rushed over to assist him. As EJ managed to get up, his son spun around and departed.

Later on, Kristen queries Rachel regarding her recollections of the evening when EJ was gunned down. In response, Rachel shares that she awakened due to loud arguing and descended to find EJ and Johnny engaged in a fight, with Johnny brandishing a firearm.
