In the May 26 episode of Days of Our Lives, the atmosphere was tense, particularly in John’s hospital room where Steve arrived to find Marlena already present. The viewers were treated to a series of flashbacks.

In these instances, viewers witness John enduring some terrifying and chaotic situations, complete with explosions, guillotines, and other perils. However, it appears this time around that Kayla manages to rescue him from certain death.

Maggie and Xander have an intense chat

1) Xander openly tells Maggie that he won’t strive to claim the house, but he’ll vigorously defend his place in Sarah’s life. In response, Maggie declares her commitment to backing whatever decision her daughter believes is most beneficial for Victoria.

Xander wonders why everyone always makes excuses for Philip’s dubious actions. Maggie clarifies that while she previously defended him, she has decided to stop extending him further opportunities, not due to the Philip situation, but because of a vow she made to herself and Sarah.

Maggie expresses her resentment by saying, “You duped us both, and for that, I can’t ever forgive you.” She then evicts him from his previous residence and warns him not to step foot at the Mason ever again.

Sarah threatens to call security on Xander

Xander walks into Philip’s hospital room after he had gone for some medical examinations. Upon spotting her spouse, Sarah contemplates summoning hospital security, but eventually discloses about John’s predicament and the cause of her accusations against him.

Later on, Xander implies that the outcome might have been different if he had been made aware of the forgery issue earlier.

Towards the end of the show, Maggie observes that Victor’s portrait is absent. In a dimly lit and suspicious alley, we see Xander damaging his artwork by slashing it and causing chaos with it.
