On May 13th, 2025, during an episode of Days of Our Lives, Roman confides in Kate that on the night EJ was shot, he had disclosed to Johnny about the location of the gun. Not long after, the gun mysteriously vanished. In the meantime, enthusiastic about reuniting with Chanel, Johnny is caught in the act of packing his belongings when Paulina unexpectedly appears. It turns out that a physician, bound by contract to University Hospital, has conceived a treatment for Sepsis. If this treatment is endorsed by the FDA, it would lead to substantial financial gains for all parties involved.
When Kayla discovers that Xander was attempting to acquire the same hospital, she vows to take every necessary step to ensure his success, primarily since his rival in this endeavor is none other than EJ.
In this installment, we see Cat receiving an enigmatic phone call during which she expresses her disinterest and requests that the caller cease contacting her. Simultaneously, Xander and Sarah have a conversation about contemplating another pregnancy.
