The latest episode of Days of Our Lives unveiled a tense encounter between Julie and Doug, following his admission of the theft he committed. At the onset of the episode, Doug and Holly engage in a conversation where she discloses that Melinda has yet to confess her part in the jewelry heist to the authorities, but is now considering coming clean.

At first, Doug was taken aback by the verdict, but then he offered an apology to Julie for his mistakes, explaining that he had taken the necklace out of desperation as he urgently required it.
