On April 24, 2025, in an episode of “In the Days of Our Lives“, viewers witnessed a friendly exchange between Cat and Chad celebrating their successful fundraising event. As the gathering continued, JJ was present, and they both inquired about his current situation with Gabi.
He shared the information about accusing Gabi of trying to commit murder. Meanwhile, Thomas enters and leads his father away for some fun activities. Cat then comforts him, stating that Gabi will eventually forgive him. Later on, JJ heads to the bar and requests Kayla’s permission to inquire about EJ from her.
In the town square, Xander asked Sarah about the situation involving Philip. She advised him to remain polite, considering Maggie. Later, as Maggie arrived, Xander shared with her the details of what Philip had done.
Afterwards, Maggie queries Xander about his intentions regarding Philip. She also urges him to show kindness towards him. She believes that Victor would’ve preferred them to collaborate.
In the meantime, Kristen visits EJ in his hospital room and queries him regarding her missing mother. Appearing unconcerned, EJ claims ignorance on the matter. However, he confesses a desire to transform for the sake of Johnny and himself.

At the town square, Kristen spots Rachel in the company of Sarah. Sarah then escorts Rachel away, leaving Kristen to try and lure Xander into a plan. However, when Xander declines, Kristen responds by spilling her drink over him. This prompts Rachel to quip that it was no accident.
Later on, there I was, all starry-eyed as Cat and Chat graced our presence. In a blink, my heart skipped a beat, thinking Chat was none other than Abigail, my idol! Rachel seemed to share the same misconception. Kristen tried to clarify, but poor Cat looked a bit wounded by the misunderstanding. Chad, ever so casually, strolled off, leaving Cat feeling more bewildered and perplexed than ever.
