Season 2 Brings a New Kind of New York
Marvel.com conversed with the series’ producer, Sana Amanat, who hinted at the upcoming season 2 of “Daredevil: Born Again.” Filming for this new installment is currently underway.
It’s been fantastic! We’ve been filming numerous exciting scenes. Our team is doing an outstanding job, and the pace is relentless. The setting has a unique twist – it’s still New York City, but we’re capturing a slightly distinct version of it.
I’ve been absolutely thrilled with the resources we’ve been receiving lately. This whole week, I’ve been acting like a fanatic. We just wrapped up an extensive scene with Wilson Fisk, and it felt like being a kid let loose in a sweet shop. [Laughs]
Season 2 Builds on Season 1’s Strong Finish
Amanat carries forward, hinting that elements appreciated by viewers during the last two episodes of Season 1 will be expanded upon in Season 2.
As a movie critic, I must confess, I was thoroughly pleased with how Season 1 concluded. Given the initial hiccups and pauses along the way, it’s remarkable to see such a polished final product. The actors, in their exceptional talent, have truly outdone themselves. One simply has to place faith in their abilities, knowing they will consistently deliver the goods. We, as creators, aim to meet fan expectations and provide content that resonates with them. The closing episodes of Season 1 were primarily tailored for our viewers and ourselves. There are some intriguing scenes ahead, particularly in the final episode. And rest assured, Season 2 promises even more excitement!
Born Again” Season 1 a 9 out of 10, easily making it the standout episode of the season. You can now watch all episodes on Disney+. The show features Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, with Jon Bernthal portraying The Punisher.
