The latest trailer confirms Krysten Ritter will reprise her role as Jessica Jones. She’s teaming up with Daredevil, just like they did in the old Netflix series, to fight against Wilson Fisk’s increasingly powerful and oppressive regime. The trailer shows Daredevil taking down many of Fisk’s heavily armed police officers. We also see Matt Murdock sporting his classic black Daredevil costume, which fans of the ‘Shadowland’ comic storyline will recognize. There’s a brief appearance by Jacques Duquesne, also known as the Swordsman, from the ‘Hawkeye’ series, who is now in prison. Deborah Ann Woll is back as Karen Page, and it looks like she’ll have a bigger part this season. Plus, Daredevil is finally sporting the iconic DD emblem from the comics – it only took eleven years!
The trailer features a brutal scene of Fisk in a boxing ring, knocking someone unconscious with a powerful punch – and clearly enjoying it. True to Daredevil form, there’s also a classic, action-packed hallway fight. Fans will be excited to see Daredevil unleash his fury once again. We’ll find out what happens next when the second season of Daredevil: Born Again premieres on Disney+ on March 24th.
